Oh my goodness! We have had so much going on in the last few days. She had her eye exam yesterday and the doctor said that her eyes were not holding her here and that she could go home with them the way they are. We will have to have an appoinment in a few weeks to check on them, so we will just come back.
She also had her hearing test and passed. Amaree has been working on the breast feeding protocol and has been doing so well that ...drum roll please...Amaree will most likely be coming home on Saturday! This has come upon us so suddenly, and we have been trying to get things done so that she can come home. We have had to get a car seat so she could do her car seat test. They won't let you leave the hospital with out the test, and basicly she has to be able to sit in the car seat for as long as it takes us to get home, and still be able to breathe okay. We have also been taking lessons on how to run an oxygen tank since she will be coming home on oxygen. We have so much do, and it has all been very sudden.

It will be eleven weeks to the day that she came here. It has been a long eleven weeks, and we are trying not to get our hopes up too far because she isn't actually leaving until we are on the road, but it is very encouraging that Saturday will be the day!
