I know this looks like a lot, but this is 7ml of milk that she was getting. It really isn't very much to us. She was at 9ml before the surgery, so they will probably go back down when they start feeding her again and then move back up.
Amaree had a rough night, she was clear up on her oxygen and she is having some problems maintaining her blood pressure, but she is doing much better this morning and afternoon. She has been able to start coming down a little on the ventilator and the medication to regulate her blood pressure. They were going to remove the tube from her chest that was the drain for surgery, hopefully sometime this afternoon. She is still sedated, so she isn't in any pain and is just resting. She looks really good, and so we have been praying that this will be the thing that will just let her move forward. We appreciate all the prayers. We know that Amaree is doing so well because of all your prayers and faith. Thank you, it has made a difference.

I know it's discouraging that she had to have surgery but it's all for the best and it sounds like it went well. You guys rock, you are both so strong! Amaree is blessed to have you guys as parents.
